All information that has been or continues to be received by Hardy Financial Inc. (HFI), remains strictly confidential. In addition, this information has never been and will not be shared or sold to any other second or third party for solicitation purposes.
In compliance with the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) Hardy Financial Inc., (henceforth referred to as "Hardy") have developed a Privacy Policy to inform you of why and how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.
As your agents, insurance & investment brokers Hardy is required to obtain consent from clients to collect, use and disclose your personal information to the insurance agencies, insurance companies, banks and investment companies Hardy deals with (henceforth referred to as “we”) as needed to process your applications for financial and insurance products. This information typically includes your financial information and investment objectives, in addition to your current investments, banking information and your social insurance number. For instance, this may also include your answers to medical questions as asked on insurance applications used when you apply for insurance.
We may use this information only for the purposes of administering your insurance and financial products and to comply with the legal and regulatory requirements. At times Hardy may provide this information to segregated fund issuers, securities regulators, licensed insurance agencies, other licensed person(s) and to other companies that perform services on our behalf. These person(s) and organizations are also bound and must comply with the same federal/provincial privacy act(s).
These organizations will NOT disclose your personal information to any other organization(s) to use for their own purposes and in particular will never sell or trade your personal information.
Our client files are kept in locked filing cabinets and in a locked office within an alarm protected building patrolled by on site security guards. Our computers are password protected.
